AWAVE Travel keeps trips to a maximum of 12 travelers with a coach-to-guide ratio of 6:1 for the best experience onboard, with daily video analysis and coaching. The Boat
Coming in at 37 m in length and 8 m in width, Marselia Star is a large and well-appointed surf charter. This beautiful and well-designed boat is capable of cruising in all areas of the Maldives for those chasing waves in paradise!
The charter has an expansive dining/bar area for guests to relax in. All guest cabins are designed with comfort in mind, and cabins have air conditioning and en-suite.
The charter includes a dhingy and dhoni as standard. Perfect for mixed ability groups looking to surf different waves!
The Surf - Central Atolls
The Maldives is renowned worldwide for its perfect tropical surf. These waves are the perfect playground for intermediate-plus surfers to progress alongside AWAVE Travel’s expert coaches.
The Central Atolls encompass Meemu, Dhaalu, Thaa and Laamu. Each atoll holds quality surf on a variety of wind and swell combos. Our Expert Surf Coaches are on hand to make sure on the spot each day.

Accommodation
Marselia Star has a total of 11 air-conditioned and en-suite guest rooms. These comprise 6 Standard Twin Cabins, 2 Standard Double Cabins, and 1 Superior Double below deck. On the upper deck are a Superior Double and Master Triple Room with ocean views! Each cabin is fully air-conditioned, with all furnishings. All rooms are spacious and well-designed, perfect for relaxing after a long day of surf!
The charter has a large restaurant, bar, and lounge area with loads of space to accommodate larger groups. This is very comfortable and almost like a resort lounge! Throughout the charter are various sun decks and loads of space to relax!
Food
All trips onboard Marselia Star are fully catered, with the team serving up 3 chef-prepared meals per day. Perfect for refueling hungry surfers after a day chasing waves!
The charter serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with snacks being available throughout the day so you’ll always be well fueled for the next session. If you have any dietary requirements or preferences, please let us know prior to boarding and the charter will be able to accommodate you!
The charter also has a well-stocked bar, with alcoholic drinks being available onboard (chargeable locally).
