The Hotel
Designed entirely in wood and glass, Samura Maldives has been designed with natural colours, modern lines and furnishings, to make the rooms cosy and relaxing, giving a feeling of complete relaxation.
The large communal living room faces directly onto the beach, equipped with canopies, umbrellas and tables where it is possible to eat most meals by the sea.
In the area in front of the beautiful lagoon, you can swim and sunbathe in a bikini and enjoy the white-sand beach and palm trees of this perfect Maldivian postcard.
Waves at Samura Maldives
Samura Maldives boasts easy access to one of the highest quality waves in the Maldives, Cokes. This ultra-consistent right-hand reef break is located on the reef fringing out front of the island of Thulusdhoo and can be easily reached by walking/paddling from the hotel.
The left-hander of Chickens is right across the channel and can be accessed with a 2-minute boat ride!
Other famous waves as Sultans, Honkys, Jailbreaks and Ninjas can be surfed during a half-day surf trip! March to November is the best time to surf in North Male Atolls, with smaller, intermediate friendly surf during the shoulder months and larger swell in the peak season of June – September!
The Rooms
All the rooms at Samura are beachfront and arranged to guarantee a sea view, offering the best possible location for an authentic Maldivian holiday!
The King Rooms and Queen Rooms are decorated with a mix of Balinese furniture, with attention to details and sea-view. The rooms have a private bathroom, hot water and air conditioning. The King Room can accommodate up to 3 people. The Queen room can accommodate up to 4 persons, making it the perfect option for families.
The Cuisine
Samura offers a delicious fixed menu (2 courses + dessert), that varies from authentic Maldivian to Western-style meals, with an Italian imprint from the owners.
Samura’s chefs create delicious and nutritious meals using fresh and local ingredients and cater to every kind of dietary need (to be advised in advance).
The meals are served on the beach, all together at big tables. However, if you would like to have a romantic dinner, it can be accommodated!
A beach bbq is organised twice a week (if the weather allows).

How to Get There
Samura is located a short speedboat ride away from Male Velana Airport. Scheduled boats run every day and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Private
