Waves at Stay Mikado
Thaa Atolls enjoy an abundance of medium-sized, perfect reef breaks, the majority of which are right-handers. Unlike other island chains, the low number of boats and accommodations in this area of the Maldives keeps crowds low.
Inside Mikado, known for its pristine barrels, is the gem of the area and under the right conditions, it becomes tropical perfection. Adonis, Outside Mikado, Finimas Right and Left are a short boat drive away from Thimarafushi.
Bowling Alley, a scenic deep-water peak, and the left of Malik’s, which can offer high-quality barrels, are reachable from the surf camp with a day trip.
