Areias do Seixo Charm Hotel is a realisation of the owners Marta and Gonçalo’s dream, who had a compelling desire to create a unique place where they could welcome people from the four corners of the globe in a magical familiar setting.
Areias do Seixo exists in harmony with Nature. It was conceived and fashioned in perfect balance with its surroundings. This hotel is an ecological place that applies the principles of sustainable tourism: energy efficiency, renewable energies, and the use of natural resources.
Each room tells its own intriguing story. The restaurant transports you to a place where scent, taste and colour come together, using raw ingredients sourced from the bountiful Mother Nature. Let yourself be transported back to an almost forgotten time when “to feel” was enough.
Waves at Areias Do Seixo
Santa Cruz is home to a renowned beach break, a long stretch of sand that produces some thumping barrels and reeling peaks that can rival Europe’s best on its day. Home to a series of sandbanks and sand-covered reefs, Santa Cruz even has a sand-covered shipwreck! Both Peniche and Ericeira are a short drive away for the ones willing to score also these famous waves or where the conditions are not perfect for the home spots!
All-year-round waves see their best conditions in spring and autumn when the swells are consistent, the light off-shore winds blow and the peaks get perfect!
The resort offers surf lessons and guiding for all surfing levels, in groups or private, through its sister Noah Surf School.

The resort offers gorgeous double rooms and a Pine Shelter perfect for a romantic couple getaway and three-bedroom luxury villas, a great choice for families and groups!
The guests will experience a different journey through the senses in the Hotel rooms. Their elements include fireplaces, Jacuzzis, terraces, and unique views of the sea and the dunes. With their seductive decor, using recycled elements, all rooms are sophisticated and each of them is unique in its style. The Shelter distinguishes itself from other rooms not just for its unique location but also for its direct contact with Nature, in a charming luxury tent.
The Villas are independent houses, located across the street from the Hotel’s main building. Here rusticity and urbanity come together seamlessly with the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop! Seductive and cosy, the spaces are large and ethereal and include an outdoor pool and barbeque area.
The Cuisine
Enjoy a creative, organic, authentic, and lovingly made dinner/lunch at Areias do Seixo Restaurant! Here the Chefs cook with what Mother Earth naturally gives them, using flowers, bulbs, vegetables and herbs of the garden. The products are used according to seasonality, mostly are Portuguese and many locally sourced.
For a special romantic experience, you can have your dinner served in the beautiful Garden Dome, underneath the starlight, surrounded by sand dunes and pine trees.
The breakfast consists of a delicious buffet made from regional delicacies and organic produces from the vegetable garden, freshly squeezed juices, fresh fruit, a variety of bread and cereals, homemade cakes, yoghurts and jams.
The sister restaurants Noah Beach House and Noah Surf House Restaurants also offer a great alternative dining experience with the ocean as the background.
