Kudanil Explorer – Mentawai Islands

Kudanil Explorer is a uniquely converted Indonesian safety vessel. The charter comes in at over 50m in length with more than 1000 square meters of onboard living space. Every inch of the charter has been refitted with the finest luxury materials and is of an incredible standard.

Spread over 3 decks, Kudanil Explorer has a large saloon on the main deck with an adjacent library lounge and wine store. The charter can accommodate up to 16 persons across 8 staterooms on the upper deck. To top the charter off, is a huge top deck, with a jacuzzi and sky saloon. You will be attended to at all times with a full crew of 21 persons on board.

Onboard you would have the use of all (water) sports equipment/toys such as snorkeling equipment, wakeboard, surfboards, SUPs, sea kayaks The charter comes equipped with 3 tenders (20ft LCT with 2 x 115HP, 26ft jet-engine RIB with 300HP for long-range exploration, 13ft RIB with 60HP outboard).

The Mentawais are like no other island chain in the world. With such a high concentration of world-class waves and incredible consistency, the area has been drawing traveling surfers since the 1980’s when the first pioneers discovered this treasure trove of perfection.

From perfect peeling points to heavy slabbing barrels, high-performance air waves, and chilled longboard spots, the Mentawai Islands have something to offer everyone! The peak months of May – September offer regular larger surf, with the months either side offering consistent perfect conditions with lower crowds!

Kudanil Explorer can accommodate up to 16 travelers onboard in 8 luxury cabins. Each 15m2 bedroom comes with one king-size bed or two single beds (optional). All beds are fitted with the finest quality sheets. Additional beds are available for children upon request.

Each cabin also comes with a private en-suite 4.5 m2 bathroom, private terrace (11 m2) complete with a day bed, two chairs, and a coffee table. There’s adjustable air-conditioning and a flat screen to connect your favorite series & movies from your device.

The charter has a large living/dining area, library lounge, sky saloon, and huge upper deck! Kudanil Explorer is the ultimate in luxury surf travel and perfect for your unforgettable escape.

All trips are fully catered with a wide range of Indonesian and international dishes on offer. The onboard catering team is able to cater to any requirements or preferences. Breakfast is offered with a buffet and a la carte options. You will be served a beautifully prepared 3-course lunch and in the evening dine on the finest, culinary delights prepared by expert chefs. There is a wide range of internationally sourced wine and alcohol available (payable onsite) and healthy snacks available throughout the day!
