SF Freeride

Pelister rises to 2,610 metres, offering a diverse mix of open alpine terrain, powder-filled bowls and tree runs. Modern snowcats provide access to untouched terrain away from the pistes, with experienced local guides selecting the best lines according to conditions and ability.

SF Freeride keeps groups small, creating a more personal experience and plenty of opportunity to explore the mountain away from the crowds. The guiding team has more than 10 years of experience on Pelister, with professional training in avalanche safety, mountain rescue and first aid.

SF Freeride offers flexible multi-day cat-skiing packages, typically combining 3 – 5 days of guided freeriding with accommodation at Hotel Šumski Feneri. Packages include breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, airport and ground transfers, and avalanche safety equipment.

Modern snowcats transport guests directly towards the higher reaches of Pelister, opening up terrain that would otherwise require long approaches. This means more time skiing and riding untouched snow and less time spent on the ascent.

With the operation limited to small groups, the experience feels more like having your own private mountain playground, with the guides adapting each day around snow conditions and the group’s preferences.

Hotel Šumski Feneri is a small, family-run mountain hotel located at around 900 metres above sea level, surrounded by forest at the foot of Pelister National Park. The hotel is just 7 km from the snowcat start and provides a comfortable and welcoming base for the trip.

After skiing, guests can relax in the hotel’s pool and spa facilities or unwind by the fireplace before dinner.

SF Freeride is based near Bitola, at the foot of Pelister National Park in North Macedonia. Hotel Šumski Feneri is approximately 4 km from Bitola and 7 km from the snowcat start. Airport transfers and ground transportation are included in the main packages, making the logistics straightforward once you arrive in the region.
