This 36-meter long and 11-meter wide charter offers guest accommodation for up to 20 persons, surf the Maldives in comfort and style! Diving services are also available on request!
The Boat
The M/Y Duke of York is a beautiful large charter that can cater for groups of up to 20 persons. This charter is available to cruise all areas of the Maldives, allowing you and your group to surf the more remote regions of the country!
The charter offers 11 guest suites all with ensuite toilet/showers and full air-conditioning! The common areas are located across 3 levels, with a large, air-conditioned dining area equipped with full a full bar that can comfortably sit all travelers. This area can even turn into a dancefloor with the entertainment system’s surround sound!
The charter has loads of chill-out spots, and an expansive sun deck, making M/Y Duke of York is an amazing surf charter for larger groups!
The Surf
The Maldives is renowned worldwide for its perfect tropical surf. The M/Y Duke of York can be chartered to any area in the Maldives and we can arrange all possible routes. These vary greatly on the season, so we will always get you to the best area!
North Male offers the most famous waves in the Maldives and is the classic surf area. For those seeking more adventure and less crowded waves, then we would recommend the Central and Southern Atolls. These more remote regions are generally quieter with amazing waves on offer!

Accommodation
M/Y Duke of York offers 10 luxurious and well-designed cabins for up to 20 persons. Each cabin has its own ensuite toilet and air-conditioning unit for your comfort! Comprising of 6 double cabins and 4 triple cabins, there is comfortably space for up to 20 travelers
The communal areas spread across 3 decks encompassing a bar and large dining area, where all meals are taken. There is loads of extra seating around the outside of this area. On the upper decks, there are more chillout spaces and a large sundeck to sunbathe and watch the waves from!
Food
M/Y Duke of York specialises in running surf and diving trips year-round, so they know how important good food is! The onboard chef prepares 3 meals per day, which are served buffet style for the group. Offering a wide range of options from Western, Italian and Maldivian cuisines, there is always a tasty meal to enjoy!!
The team onboard M/Y Duke of York is able to cater for all tastes and requirements, so please let your Surf Travel Expert know your requirements prior to travel!
Alcohol is available onboard for an extra charge, so you can enjoy a cold beer at the end of a long day in the water!
