The Resort
Located a 45-minute flight away from the capital Malé, the resort sits on a pristine tropical island. The island itself is larger than most resort islands, giving a real feeling of space and seclusion to each villa, allowing you and your partner/family to really relax after a long day of tropical surfing.
With a full range of luxury resort facilities, multiple pools, and secluded lagoons, Ayada is a true tropical paradise. Long white sandy beaches with beautiful coral reefs fringing the island, just waiting for you to explore!
Waves at AYADA Maldives
Being in an area more exposed to swell means that it is rare to be flat and with so many wave options, there are spots in almost all winds. This makes the region very consistent.
With 6 high-quality waves within a short boat ride from the resort (Tiger Stripes – fun, consistent left, Love Charms – a mechanical lefthander, 2-ways – beginner-friendly a frame peak, 5 Islands – classy righthander, Antiques – beginner-friendly right and Blue Bowls – ultra-consistent right-hander), you’ll be spoilt for choice. For the more advanced surfer, there is a real gem hidden about a 45-minute boat ride away!
The peak surf months are March – May and September – November but we have found amazing waves year round!
