Surf Synergy is located in Jacó Beach, a premier destination for surfers from around the globe, a short ten-minute drive to the newly designated World Surfing Reserve, Playa Hermosa.

Jaco and its surrounding area offer quality beach breaks and point breaks waves for all levels, which with the right swell can produce barrels for advanced surfers.
Usually, you can surf year-round with the largest SW swells arriving in the wet season of May – October. Throughout the dry season from December – April, waves are smaller, great for beginner surfers!

The Bungalows
Wake up to epic views in Surf Synergy’s bungalows. Each room features air conditioning, comfortable beds with bamboo sheets, a spacious closet, a work desk, and a shared deck with hammocks.
The large private bathrooms have plenty of space and are well-stocked with organic bath products.
The Cuisine
Good quality and wholesome ingredients are the base of Surf Synergy’s menus. The hotel works together with local producers to ensure the health of the guests and also to support the community!
The chef, Pedro, who graduated from the Costa Rican National Institute of Learning with a focus on Culinary Arts, bases his recipes on organic products and 100% grass-fed meats. He is deeply passionate about creating foods that generate health and energy!
Activities
Included in the package are various onsite and offsite activities that allow you to explore the surrounding area and culture. there are activities for everyone. From cross-fit to yoga to canyoning and rappelling, to art classes, such as Latin music and dance.
Ice Bath & Breathwork
Ice bathing and breathwork are an integral part of the Surf Synergy experience. Reset, recover, and expand your physical and mental health with these techniques while improving your resilience in and out of the water.
Get There
Fly to San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport and a hotel representative will pick you up to transfer to you to the retreat. The journey to get to Jaco would take approx. 1.5 hrs by car.
