North Male offers the most famous waves in the Maldives and is the classic surf area. For those seeking more adventure and less crowded waves, then we would recommend the Central and Southern Atolls. These more remote regions are generally quieter with amazing waves on offer!

Accommodation
The Koimala has a total of 6 cabins, 4 of these are ensuite with double bunk beds and 2 are single bunk beds. There are also 2 extra toilets with showers onboard. All cabins have air conditioning for maximum comfort whilst sleeping.
The communal areas are on the top deck encompassing a bar and dining area for up to 12 people. Towards the bow is a large area to chill out and a sun deck on the roof to relax and watch the waves and sunsets from!
The Koimala is a simple charter but offers everything you need to comfortably surf in the Maldives!
Food
For us, there is nothing more important on a surf charter than the fuel for the waves! The Koimala serves up 3 hearty meals a day with snacks in between. The dishes are a mix of Western and Maldivian. Portions are always sized for hungry surfers, so everyone will be happy!
The fishing in the Maldives is amazing and the chefs are always happy to cook up the day’s catch for you!
Alcohol is available onboard for an extra charge, so you can enjoy a cold beer at the end of a long day in the water!
