The Boat
The Maldives Explorer is a well priced mid-range large charter. This boat can hold between 10 and 16 persons comfortably. With 8 double/twin cabins, all with air-conditioning and ensuite toilets/showers, there is ample space for all guests to sleep comfortably after a long day surfing.
The charter has a well-sized indoor dining/bar area with seating for all guests. On deck, there is a huge sundeck with sun loungers and loads of space for guests to relax. The charter comes with a small dingy to reach the surf and a Dhoni (larger boat) can also be added to your booking if required!
The Surf
The Maldives is renowned worldwide for its perfect tropical surf. The Maldives Explorer can be chartered to any area in the Maldives and we can arrange all possible routes. These vary greatly on the season, so we will always get you to the best area!
North Male offers the most famous waves in the Maldives and is the classic surf area. For those seeking more adventure and less crowded waves, then we would recommend the Central and Southern Atolls. These more remote regions are generally quieter with amazing waves on offer!

The Maldives Explorer can comfortably fit up to 22 persons. Generally, it is best to keep to 16 persons for the best experience. The charter accommodates these across 8 cabins, a 4 person Family Quad Suite, 3 Double Sea View Cabins, and 4 standard cabins (each with 2/3 beds). All rooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite showers and toilets.
The Maldives Explorer is functionally designed with plenty of space for guests, luggage, and surfboards.
Food
The Maldives Explorer offers good quality and filling meals, for the hungry surfers out there! All meals are prepared by the onboard Chef with the cuisine being international with a touch of Maldivian. All tastes can be catered for, so please let us know when booking if you have any special reqiurements!
The charter serves up 3 hearty meals a day, with snacks being available in between. All packages include water, coffee, and tea. Alcoholic beverages and beers are available and chargeable onboard.
