Waves at Kandooma Surf Resort
The crown jewel of Kandooma’s surfing is Kandooma Right, a perfect right-hander that breaks consistently through the Peak surf season of May – September. This well-shaped mechanical wave peels down the reef offering spaces for turns and when the swell gets bigger, barrels for the tube riders out there!
Being in the quieter South Male Atoll, you will also have access via the resorts surf transfers to Riptides, a beginner/intermediate friendly right breaking 150m into a deep channel, Foxy’s, a fast left-hander that goofy footers will love, Quarters, a protected right-hander that can serve up perfect barrels and Tucky Joe’s, a fickle but high-quality lefthander!
