The Boat
Crystal Clear is a luxury surf charter first launched in 2016. The boat is fully air-conditioned, has a watermaker, and is equipped with all modern navigational and safety equipment.
You will be accommodated in 2 double bed private cabins, 8 single bunks, and 2 double beds with berth for 14 persons. The charter has 2 bathrooms/ toilets with hot and cold showers. There is loads of space on board with the living quarters being spread across three deck levels. The guest accommodation on the lower hull level, saloon, galley on the main deck with the bridge deck level for the wheelhouse, and deck area.
The Surf
The Mentawais are like no other island chain in the world. With such a high concentration of world-class waves and incredible consistency, the area has been drawing traveling surfers since the 1980’s when the first pioneers discovered this treasure trove of perfection.
From perfect peeling points, to heavy slabbing barrels, high-performance air waves and chilled longboard spots, the Mentawai Islands has something to offer everyone! The peak months of May – September offer regular larger surf, with the months either side offering consistent perfect with lower crowds!
It is a right of passage for every surfer to experience Mentawai perfect at least once and Crystal Clear is a great option to experience this in comfort and style!

Accommodation
Crystal Clear can accommodate up to 14 persons in comfort, with 2 Private Double Cabins and a larger bunk room with 8 single beds and 2 doubles, your group will get a great nights sleep onboard! The charter has 2 toilets/bathrooms both with hot and cold showers.
The dining area is well proportioned and can seat all guests for meals. The inside of the boat has been tastefully decorated and well designed. Up on deck, you’ll find a few areas to sit and relax and loads of space to store your boards and equipment!
Food
The owners of Crystal Clear have been surfing the Mentawais for decades and know the only thing more important than the waves, is the food being served. The charter includes 3 chef-prepared meals per day, snacks, tea, coffee, and all soft drinks.
Expect a wide range of well-prepared and hearty meals. The charter can also prepurchase alcohol for you at local prices, just let us know what you require!
The package includes snacks, fruits, water, coffee, juices, cappuccinos, and 24 beers per person! Beers are transferable between the crew for those who don’t drink. Let us know if you pan to drink a lot and extra alcohol can be arranged for cost price in Padang!
