Having been in operation since 2011, the Carpe Vita is the perfect charter for larger groups looking for quality accommodation, reliable service, and of course, great surf! As standard, the charter comes with a dhoni (smaller boat) and dhingy to reach the waves.
The Boat
First launched in 2011, the Carpe Vita has been impressing clients with its luxury and comfort since first setting sail. The charter is set over 3 spacious decks with a massive sun deck for sunbathing!
Coming in at 38m in length the Carpe Vita offers a total of 10 ensuite guest cabins, ensuring there is loads of space for even the largest of groups. The dining area is well sized even with a full charter. Many of the crew have been on board for years, making this charter feel like a โhome away from homeโ.
There is even a hot tub on the top deck for you to soothe your muscles after a long day surfing perfect waves!
The Surf
The Maldives is renowned worldwide for its perfect tropical surf. The Carpe Vita can be chartered to any area in the Maldives and we can arrange all possible routes. These vary greatly on the season, so we will always get you to the best area!
North Male offers the most famous waves in the Maldives and is the classic surf area. For those seeking more adventure and less crowded waves, then we would recommend the Central and Southern Atolls. These more remote regions are generally quieter with amazing waves on offer!

Accommodation
The Carpe Vita has 10 comfortable cabins of different standards divided over 3 decks. Your group will be accommodated across the suite room, the deluxe room, 2 x double rooms, and 6 x standard rooms.
Food
For us, there is nothing more important on a surf charter than the fuel for the waves! The Carpe Team has an expert chef team onboard serving up 3 hearty meals a day with snacks in between. The dishes are a mix of Western and Maldivian. Portions are always sized for hungry surfers, so everyone will be happy!
The food onboard is of a really high standard with all dietary requirements being catered for. Please advise us prior to arrival of any special requests!
Alcohol is available onboard for an extra charge, so you can enjoy a cold beer at the end of a long day in the water!
