The Resort
Hidden among the palm trees of the remote Rote Island, T-Land Resort is an exclusive resort designed to accommodate small groups (maximum 16 people) thinking of the comfort, peacefulness and an idyllic tropical setting. The resort is located in the most coveted place in Nemberala beach, just in front of the main wave T-Land, which gives its name to the resort and is one of the longest left waves in Indonesia.
The whole complex is fenced all-round with coral rock assuring privacy and safety without detriment of the sea views.
The T-Land Resort is a perfect destination for surfers traveling in couples, group of friends or families, but also ideal if you´re a solo traveler, as you will enjoy a warm welcoming atmosphere!
Waves at T-Land Resort
In Rote Island, you will find consistent world-class waves, away from the crowds! Rote receives from March to November consistent S-SW swell, that is when the Indian Ocean turns into a playground of waves and dreams. During this season, the E-SE winds blow off-shore. The locals of Rote and very friendly and happy to share their waves!
T-Land is the main Rote´s wave and one of the longest and most perfect left-handers in Indonesia. The wave has three sections, suitable for different surfing skills, making it accessible, manoeuvrable, breaking at all tides and holding up to 15ft. Bommie, Boat, Do’o and Suckies are great options for those willing to surf some right-harders as well!
T-Land Resort offers unlimited transfers to the main wave spots (T-Land and the Bommie). Surf to the other waves of the area can be organised by land or boat transfers.

Accommodation
Right on the shoreline of the beach, 8 deluxe rooms make the exclusive accommodation of T-Land Resort. All bungalows are built following the traditional design of local architecture, hand-built by artisans of the island using local materials from Rote itself. The bungalow roofs are thatched resting on coral-rock walls.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and offer the best views of the wave of T-Land, the immense sea and superb landscapes surrounding the resort. Each one has a different decoration, inspired by the local Timor style. The private bathrooms are outside and the terraces offer magnificent sea views.
The Cuisine
T-Land Resort Restaurant is an open and spacious natural space situated just on the beach! Every day the Chef along with the kitchen team prepares a gastronomical healthy offer which mixes foreign influences with the most traditional Rotinese cuisine. The kitchen is open to the dining area enhancing the devotion to quality, local produce and correct handling of food.

Getting there
For international flights, you will need to travel to Bali International Airport (Denpasar) or Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. There are regular and direct flights from Bali and Jakarta to Kupang. Wings Air has scheduled a daily flight between Kupang and Rote Island. Ferry from Kupang to Rote is also available. Once in Rote, you will be picked up by T-land Resort staff, who will take you directly to the hotel.
