Gota Dagua Surf Camp in Ahangama boasts a prime location, only 200 meters away from the renowned Kabalana Beach, which stands as one of Sri Lanka’s most famous surf spots. Enveloped by a captivating landscape of pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear blue waters, and majestic palm trees, the surroundings create a mesmerizing setting.
Conveniently situated on the bottom floor, the pool area serves as the hub for all camp activities. It’s here where guests can relish in the delightful and mouthwatering surf camp breakfasts and dinners, served at the inviting tables alongside the pool.

The best surf in the South-West of Sri Lanka is found from November to May. During these months you will have dry and sunny weather conditions and warm water temperatures. The combination of head-high glassy waves, consistent small long-period swells, and offshore winds creates the perfect surf setting for anyone from beginners to advanced surfers alike!
Gota Dagua Sri Lanka offers high-quality surf coaching for all levels at Kabalana Beach, where you can find a great variety of waves from a beach break for beginners to a reef break for advanced surfers. The professional surf instructors run weekly theory surf lessons, including video analysis, to bring your surfing to the next level!
Accommodation
Gota Dagua Sri Lanka has 6 private rooms and 2 shared rooms, all with a private bathroom and AC.
The shared room is designed to accommodate 6 people with 3 bunk beds. Each person enjoys a personal sleeping cabin with a curtain for privacy, a power outlet, a locker, and a reading light. This arrangement proves to be an excellent choice for solo travelers seeking a fantastic opportunity to make new friendships!
The private double rooms offer the option of a double bed or two single beds based on your preferences. These rooms come equipped with bedside tables, soothing nightlights, accessible power outlets, and a spacious closet. Whether you’re on a romantic getaway with your loved one or sharing the room with a friend, these accommodations promise a comfortable and private stay.
The Food

Dinners are served every night at the villa where we can enjoy local Sri Lankan and Western cuisine. The BBQ night is a special night where everyone gathers together and we make a small party at the villa.
